May 20, Daily Scripture

"Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. Honor your father and mother. This is the first commandment with a promise. If you honor you father and mother, things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on earth."

        - Ephesians 6:1-3

Ok so the strategy for having a good life is obey your mother and father. Simply stated right? Well our Lord is our Father too.  And our church is our family as well.  So I believe that we have many fathers and mothers to honor and take advice from. After all, God did promise us this.
